This is one in a larger series of cut-away art pieces, most of which this guy does with books. He cuts layers into stacked pieces of material, in this case, a stack of American one-dollar bills (or a suitable copy, I’m not certain these are true bills but appear so), and cuts progressively deeper designs into them so that when stacked appropriately, create a layered design.. They’re laser cut, if you’re wondering.
