There are at least five email addresses that you can send an attachment to, wait a few moments, and check your inbox again to receive an attached conversion of that file:
iPhone@pdfonline.com - (disregard the “iphone” part, it’s misleading) Attach any MS Word or MS Viso file that’s under 1mb, and you’ll get a response with that document converted into a PDF.
pdf@koolwire.com - Converts MS Word, Excel, or Powerpoint files (up to 10 mb) into PDF.
doc@koolwire.com - Converts PDF into Word or RTF (Rich Text Format), accepts up to 10 mb.
mp3@koolwire.com - Converts/Encodes 10mb or smaller WAV files into MP3 format.
wav@koolwire.com - Converts/Decodes 10mb or smaller MP3 files into WAV format. You don’t have to put a subject, nor have to pay anything for the service. Awesome!
Looking for a few more things like this? Check out this list of similar options.
For Vonage users who have an iPhone and send their voicemail message as a WAV to their Gmail address — consider setting up a special filter that sends the WAVs instead to the MP3 converter so your iPhone will understand it better, and take up much less space.
